Alexandra Tyler in Almost Famous

Alexandra Tyler is our Miss April 2015, and she rocks the house in this set from photographer Michael Bernard. Brown-haired, blue-eyed and all natural, Alexandra comes from Sacramento, California. A self-described ‘goody two-shoes’, she’s nevertheless a very confident girl, and wears black lea ...ther like a total boss. “I have close to a hundred dresses, but everyone needs a good leather jacket,” she says good-naturedly. “Sometimes you just need somebody else to believe in you!” A good friend of our Miss January, Brittny Ward, Alexandra had her eye on Playboy for years, and this year she finally made up her mind to test. (Editor’s note: There must be something in the water in Sacramento.) “My photographer was Michael Bernard, and he was incredible,” says Alexandra. “We only had one day to shoot, but he got so much done—from the moment I stepped on set, he kept me so busy that I barely had time to eat. It didn’t matter, though, ‘cause we were both determined to get perfect pictures.” April is our annual Sex & Music issue, and Miss Tyler was only too happy to play the role of rocker chick. “The cliché is true. Never judge a book by its cover,” she says. “I’m a homebody, but every now and then, I do something unexpected.
