April Playmates of the Decade

Start April off right with this week’s Mashup of some of the Playmates who have reigned this month from the past decade. Look back on galleries from Amy Leigh Andrews (April 2010), Jaclyn Swedberg (April 2011), Raquel Pomplun (April 2012), Jaslyn Ome (April 2013), Shanice Jordyn (April 2014), Alex ...andra Tyler (April 2015), Nereyda Bird (April 2018), and Fo Porter (April 2019). First up, get to know Miss April 2012, Raquel Pomplun, a little better. “I was discovered by a receptionist at the Playboy office,” she says with a laugh. “I sent my picture, and two weeks later, they called and invited me to do a test shoot.” That very next year, Raquel also became our Playmate of the Year for 2013. Currently, Raquel works as a model, actress, and comedian. You’ll also get reacquainted with Miss April 2018, Nereyda Bird, who is all about self-love and self-discovery. “I understand we’re in a weird society that can’t accept certain things, but there’s nothing wrong with the female body,” says Nereyda bluntly. “We as women need to embrace ourselves. We can’t be scared of being naked!” As far as how people see her, Nereyda loves when someone compliments her brain. “I like it when people tell me they like how I think,” she tells us. “I don’t mind being told I’m attractive, but it’s beautiful when someone likes me for who I am.” Catch up with more of the Playmates in this Mashup, right here on Playboy Plus!
