Gig Gansel first graced the pages of Playboy magazine back in October 1979 –and lucky for her, she got to share the cover with a handsome, leading man. Posing alongside Burt Reynolds—the second man to ever be on the cover of Playboy magazine—the tall blonde was surprised by how taken she was with the Smokey and the Bandit and Boogie Nights actor. “To tell you the truth, when I heard I was going to pose with Burt Reynolds, I wasn't excited at all. I know that sounds abnormal, but I never thought of him as quite my type,” says our very honest Playmate of the Month of the Academy Award nominated actor. “I was expecting a conceited movie star, but he walked into the studio in jeans and a sweatshirt and was extremely warm and friendly—a little shy, in fact. He cracked us all up and, well, my whole attitude changed. I walked away from that shooting just floating on a cloud. Now, he excites me a lot!” Even though Burt has turned our Miss January 1980 into a lifelong fan, even he would not be able to change the all-natural beauty’s views on marriage. “For one thing, marriage doesn't appeal to me at all,” admits Gig. “I tried it once—it lasted three months—and, needless to say, I don't believe in it. Nowadays, that little piece of paper just isn't necessary. If you're not getting along, you should up and leave any time you please.” Our Playmate with an all-natural E-cup chest, isn’t afraid to admit she can be bullheaded at times, especially when she knows what she wants –and right now, she wants a man to cuddle with on a bed stacked with pillows. “My ideal man is someone who is not too dominant, who can communicate and embrace my ideas, someone who can protect me and who can take me as I am; someone who won’t linger on my past. Physically, I prefer large-chested men with hair on their faces and I’ve always had a weakness for blue eyes,” says our blue-eyed Miss January 1980. “He’s got to like the ocean as much as I do.” Gig Gangel is a woman who knows what she wants –and she wants a blue-eyed man to make love with on the beach. Who could refuse such a request?
