Meet newcomer Roxy Shaw in this Earth Day-themed pictorial by the photographer Cassandra Keyes. Adorned in florals and surrounded by greenery, Roxy makes a lovely debut as we get to know her better. “I’m originally from Clarksville, Tennessee,” says Roxy, who now calls Los Angeles home. “I ...’m a down-to-earth, free-spirited person that has an extremely giving personality.” A model and painter, Roxy truly loves to create. “I consider my passion to be creating art that makes other people feel something,” she says. “Inspiring other people is certainly something that can make anyone feel good inside.” For Roxy, going for her goals is what makes her feel the most fulfilled. “I’m most proud of my bachelor’s degree. [It] was something that I wasn’t sure I would be able to maintain financially, but I made it happen,” she shares. “I think female empowerment is when a woman strives to do everything on her own.
